But if you decide to upgrade your system it's always a good idea to do a compatibility research before buying the rig. With AppleALC.kext+Lilu.kext most of the modern Audio Codes can be activated as long as you choose the correct Layout-ID and if AppleALC doesn't support the audio codec you can check VoodooHDA.kext. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
