Kentsfield (desktop) and Clovertown (server). Basically just two conroes on one chip, not a "real" quad core but close enough, consumes lots of power, makes more heat etc etc. Only really useful for multithreaded apps

Not sure if they pushed them back but they were suppost to release some "lower end" conroe/allendales.

 

E4300 I think was the lowest a 1.8. runs at a lower FSB (400)but higher clock (9x) to the e6300 which runs at 1.8 as well (533) but 7x clock

I read a review in my pc magazine and they say that these chips are only good if you are a hard core multitasker. They are slower clocked than the best core 2 duo, so they are slower for games (as games don't need 4 cpu's). AND they cost a lot of money!
