ebrunson
@Herve' Regarding SIP. It may be "incorrect", according to you, but what I am reporting is that it works on this instance (on this system). I was not seeking "correctness", but just an operational system. Regarding USB kexts and ACPI, I experimented and found what worked. And I did use both, and I have an operational systems with functioning USBs. The layout of the EFI is in the document. Go figure! I was getting nowhere, being "correct"! It is indeed difficult, if not impossible, without a 2nd Mac to reproduce. Additionally, I reported that an install disk with the created EFI will allow you to install the MacOS without error. I tested it. To your point, I have included the EFI folder. OC 0.7.8. I assume that the post is nonetheless informative. Feel free to delete it, if otherwise. If it is not clear, disable SIP only to install the Wifi dongle driver, then enable SIP afterwards.
