Yesterday I compiled OC from the last master 9546ac6   https://github.com/acidanthera/OpenCorePkg/tree/emu-nvram

 

On reboot no GUI and crashed on "[EB | #LOG: EXITBS: START]"

 

After the usual checks ... checking with ocvalidate

and comparing the Sample.plist I discovered the news ... in the driver section it will be necessary to specify

 

 

if the loading of the defined drivers (Load) is Enabled (Enabled) or not (Disabled)

 

 

( Ocat has not yet been updated to these news (watch out for beta users)

so it does not apply the novelty in the plist ( do it manually ... the old way  😆 )

@antuneddu I don't think OCAT needs an update to update the config. You only have to import the .zip in the Sync window.  This integrats the updated OCValidate and new sample into the database und adjusts the config when saviing. OCAT has only be updated by the dev if an array changes.

Yes, but in fact this is what I did, as I always do ... but it did not boot (  as I mentioned earlier   no GUI and   " [EB | #LOG: EXITBS: START]"   )

 ... it did not apply the changes ... I corrected it manually

Buongiorno. Why do you get the OC emu-nvram branch? I usually get the master branch. There are a difference: master config.plist has Enabled instead of Load in each driver and it's must be Enabled or Disabled.

@antuneddu Thanks. I wonder why OC developers doesn't no more use Enabled Yes/No for drivers section like in Kexts section.

These side branches are only used for testing.

 

Don't update to them. You never know if it gets integrated into the master branch.

I see Enabled key in master branch and Load key in emu-nvram branch, do you see it different?

its i310 something <I forgot the number and won't be pulling my machine apart to find out

It is the f version no onboard video

3.7 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i3

not wasting your time. I put them there because OTHER PEOPLE  may use them

Here. For somebody who is as active as you are, I expected bettter work!

 

There was so much garbage in there, I believe this EFI wasn't even created by you!  How I know? The config contained DeviceProperties for a Xeon E… Since you have an Intel Core i3 The only explanation is, that you took it from somewhere and expect it to work or someone else to fix it. You need to add your OpenIntel kexts back in...they are too big.
