taruyato Posted January 24, 2022 Share Posted January 24, 2022 Recently my laptop has an issue that sometimes when I connect it to external display, using C to DP cable (it's cable, not adapter), all USB ports's signal will be lost randomly. But if I use the laptop only, it works fine and no issue. I can plug usb mouse, keyboard, usb stick,... and work all day and everything is ok. This issue didn't happen before. This is the first time I meet it, start from Jan this year. Before Jan the machine worked well and nothing happened. - All my USB ports are mapped. - XhciPortLimit quirk is FALSE. - Device (USBX) in ACPI is already had. - I tried to downgrade to Big Sur but doesn't fix. - Open Hackintool -> USB tab will be laggy (Hackintool will be crashed sometimes). Also laggy with IO Registry Explorer. Also I haven't checked the Bluetooth yet if the issue affect to bluetooth too. Will update in the comment.
