intel hd graphics 2000 mac os compatibility

Hi im new, a lot of times ago i read some post in this forum, and i like it, today i decided to ask help for one thing reward the gpu intel compatibility in mac os. I wanna know witch version of mac os support the intel hd 2000, cause i wanna build a fully working hackintosh (that's my dream) thanks :)

There's no support for this iGPU, and any hardware using this iGPU is pretty old...

 

If you want a fully working Hackintosh, there's good options at our "Guide/How to" sections. Take a time and search a little. 😉

As any other GT1 iGPU, Sandy Bridge Intel HD 2000 isn't supported at all. No graphics acceleration of any kind can be achieved on it. It merely provides support for Quick Sync features -and that's it- for the sole purpose of hardware video encoding/decoding. It can only be used to that effect alongside a discrete GPU which will handle all graphics acceleration and video output; hence why this iGPU, like its Ivy Bridge Intel HD 2500 successor, is said to be usable as codec in a headless mode (i.e. no screen attached to it).
