HenryV
If you are using a single hard drive and have an existing Big Sur install and around 60 gigs of free space you can create a new partition and use SuperDuper v3.5 beta3 to replicate Big Sur (with a new UUID) to the new partition. Launch the Monterey installer app from Big Sur and install/upgrade Monterey over the copy of Big Sur. Retain your BIg Sur configurations in the completed Monterey upgrade. Slice
Not necessary but I also install Monterey over BigSur as I don't need Big Sur anymore.

Does not work as a fresh install on a newly formatted partition? That's what most of us have done so far. Installing over an existing Big Sur is not necessary but preserves the majority of the configurations and allows testing of all other programs/installs such as brew and ntfs/ext file system drivers. Saves a lot of time otherwise spent on installation/configuration. For those wanting a clean install, fine.
