sahib1517 Posted June 6, 2021 Share Posted June 6, 2021 i recently installed catalina on my gigabyte h61m-s motherboard. everything seems to be working fine when i use USB tethering from my android device internet seems to work fine but does not work with LAN or External WLAN dongle. Please help me with it. My Specs are:- Motherboard- gigabyte h61m-s CPU- intel i5-3330 Graphics card- Nvidia GT710 LAN- Realtek® GbE LAN chip (10/100/1000 Mbit) WLAN- (no brand) 802.11n dongle Router- Genexis Platinum-4410 Please help me soon😢 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

At minimum the WLAN USB dongle should be listed in SysInfo->USB. Best thing is to save an IOReg extract using IORegistryExplorer app, zipped it and post it here. Your motherboard has Realtek RTL8111F ethernet, you must use the RTL8111 driver for macOS by @Mieze , go to Releases and download v2.4.2. About your wifi, macOS usually doesn't like USB dongles for this, from the images you have uploaded I cannot know which chip is included in the USB, only that it is from the manufacturer Ralink.
