Charlweed
I’ve spent hours trying to get mouse and keyboard to work from OpenCore 6.8 in MacOS installer for Mojave and High Sierra. I’m wondering if its really a USB issue at all, because I’ve tried everything I could find. Before a drive failed, the PC ran El-Capitan via clover. It’s been Windows-only for quite some time. CPU: Intel Core i7 3960X (Sandy Bridge-E) Motherboard: ASUS Rampage IV Black Edition uefi Boot: OpenCore 6.8 I’ve tried: All USB ports, 3.0 and 2.0. Unplugging and replugging before & after installer starts. Adding additional USB mouse and KB Enabling/Disabling USB compatibility mode in firmware. Clearing NVRAM via OpenCore tool In the ACPI dir, I’ve tried SSDT-EC-USBX-DESKTOP from OpenCore SSDT-UNC from OpenCore, & different one from Dortania +- custom SSDT generated from previous Clover installation In the kext dir: +- XHCI-unsupported.kext +- USBInjectAll.kext The other kexts are AppleALC.kext IntelMausi.kext IntelSnowMausi.kext Lilu.kext LucyRTL8125Ethernet.kext SATA-unsupported.kext VirtualSMC.kext WhateverGreen.kext In the Drivers dir: HfsPlus.efi OpenRuntime.efi In the config.plist, I’ve tried: Kernel: XhciPortLimit enabled & disabled Kernel-Patch: +- IOHIDFamily Patch and from here PlatformInfo: iMac12,2 & MacPro6,1 Any help would be appreciated.
