It's been quite a while since I "promoted" from Clover to OpenCore. Meanwhile I am delighted with it. Many thanks to the developers.

Nevertheless there is one thing I could not get rid of.

My Sound Preferences show ever since then (pretty sure) two "Internal Speakers (built-in)" entries. One of them never worked but it's always present.

What can be done about it. Any suggestions?

Thanks for your time.

Yes, it is strange, I don't think it has to do with this but layout-id must be written only in one of the 2 sites, or in DeviceProperties as layout-id=28 or in NVRAM boot-args as alcid=28. The value of boot-args takes precedence and overrides the other. Leave only one of the 2 values, I recommend you remove the sound from DeviceProperties and leave only alcid in boot-args, and tell me if this way one of the 2 Internal Speakers disappears.

H. I found this might be related to my (old) dsdt.aml, since deleting it and keeping only my ssdt's causes the error to disappear. Too bad that then I got no internal speakers entries at all. External and Bluetooth speakers  work well though.

Can someone give me a clue?
