trav1085
What's so great about it? My Dell Inspiron 1150 had a 2.8GHz Celeron D processor and was only $700. BTW, the site says it $549. guyin916
black friday fry's electronics in-store special.. online always has different prices.. i waited in the damn cold for 278.99 for 5 hours... lol! the celeron m 430 is a 1.73ghz processor is a core solo with half the cache, i believe... it is a yonah processor.. not a pentium m dothan based as many are thinking.. some hard heads won't be able to understand that Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/34092-the-27899-laptop-d/#findComment-241746 Share on other sites
asap18
well if its a core solo pinout you could always replace it with a core solo or maybe even a core duo down the line. Nice buy. guyin916
the service manual lists the following cpu's that were cto options on this laptop: t2250 1.73, t2300 1.6, t2050 1.6, t1400 1.83 i believe these are all duos except the t1400.. first step is to sell my lenovo that i have great success on with osx86.. i plan to sell it for 300. it's a steal. i plan on keeping the 100gb hard drive and use it as an external. i plan to upgrade my 60gb hd to at least a 100gb.. it's a sata drive. coreduo seems like the way to go eventually. a t2300 goes for around 90 bucks on ebay used. so we'll see =) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/34092-the-27899-laptop-d/#findComment-241849 Share on other sites
