carsonr Posted October 20, 2019 Share Posted October 20, 2019 Hello all, I am trying to get BROADCOM BCM943142HM to work with my Hackintosh, the chip is Broadcomm, and someone did get it confirmed working in 2013: It's also a super cheap card with Bluetooth 4.0: (around 7 bucks a pop!) https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=m570.l1313&_nkw=BROADCOM+BCM943142HM&_sacat=0 If we can find a fix we can get an awesome, affordable WIFI and Bluetooth chip working for Hacks! What I have Tried: I have tried then airportbrcm.kext fix and that didn't seem to help. I have tried AirportBrcmFixup + FakePCIID + FakePCIID_Broadcom_WiFi.kext - also did not work Any and all suggestions are greatly appreciated, I will post a fix if I can get one!!
