mnfesq
6 hours ago, RamLalith said: yes I checked I can't find suitable patches for my battery There are a few patches that RehabMan has for HP laptops that look like they might work for you. The first one is the HP Envy 4. The way to tell if it might work for you is that, when you select the patch, the number of changes is closest to the number of patches. Then, if it compiles without errors, it should work. But I noticed that your DSDT does not have a Device BAT0, which is odd for HP laptop DSDTs. Instead, under the WMID device it has a BATT method that obtains battery info. Usually, battery info and status are determined by the _BIF and _BST methods. What model is this? I'm assuming you can apply your own DSDT patches. Start with the HP Envy 4 first. Use ACPIBatteryManager.kext if you use FakeSMC or SMCBatteryManager.kext if you use VirtualSMC.
