. UPDATE FOR .MSI RADEON Vega 56 OC Edition, Hardware Acceleration not working. propley Help me fix it please. SOLVED

 I have just bought  a Msi Radeon Vega 56, And I can't get it to  work properly I think  Open GL is not working or Hardware Acceleration as I can't run cine bench or open Valley benchmark tool or a pin ball game parts are missing and google acting strange could someone help me fix my problem please I can't work it out myself it seems to support metal. but I have looked in the  Ati10000 Controller and the device id is in the personality on the kext plist. IT Look like my Msi Vega 56 is not supported by Metal unlike my old AMD RADEON HD 7950

OK THE UPDATE on my problem

I R.M.A ed the card and got a new one to day and it works with Metal support. and i get sound though Desplayport. the fan would slowly wind up to full speed.  but i used theVGTab-en tool to  build a kext to slow it down. added some screen shots

What software version are you in?

 

do you have whatevergreen and lilu Kexts?  

 

Any SSDT or DSDT from the old card?

I have evergreen and I had a modded bios with a patched dsdt. lilu. in EFI Folder.10.14.4 Beta (18E205e) os

If your dsdt doesn't contain Radeon injection, I would try custom ssdt by this thread https://github.com/acidanthera/WhateverGreen/blob/master/Manual/Sample.dsl

@hardcorehenry thank you for your reply. I have a fun patched dsdt in the  bios. I have also tried a newly made bios with a unpatched dsdt. and it is still the same . not loading the Metal acceleration. for the moment I'm back with the old HD 7950. and sending the vega56 back
