I have Majave (10.14.1) running on my X79 and skylake (3930k) system. Everything seems to be fine but I constantly get lockups and complete shutdowns randomly.
There's nothing in the system logs to help explain these freezes.

I've swapped between graphics cards (NVIDIA Titan and 680), and pulled every add in card (Areca Raid & USB 3) bud that didn't make a difference. (Still freezes without them)

I don't have this issue with Sierra at all.
I've tried a clover config file with a lot of options and one with minimal options and still have the same issue.
I've tried a X79 dsdt and without a dsdt.

I'm running out of ideas on what could be causing these lockups/crashes. Does anyone have an idea on what to check?
Or does anyone have/had this issue with their X79 system?

Specs:
Asrock X79 with Intel 3930K and 32GB ram
Nvidia Titan
Using a 6,1 system profile

Let me know if you need me to post my clover config and/or kext used/tried.

Clover Config uploaded...

Using these in my 10.14 kext folder (and other folder):

FakeSMC (1800)

HibernationFixup (not sure if it does anything)

Lilu.kext

NullEthernet (my ethernet isn't recognized so I need this for iMessages)

USBinject (doesn't seem to help)

VoodooTSCSync

WhateverGreen

I've pulled all of the above except FakeSMC and it still locks up.

config.plist

I had an issue while testing the upgrade to Mojave, where the system would freeze and the HDD light would stay on or I would come back after a few hours and the PC would be turned off.

When I switched back to High Sierra the freezing seemed to had carried over which made no sense. Random lock of the system, it could be as often as every 30 mins up to every 16 hours. And mostly while the computer was idle. Following this post ->

I checked the BIOS for sata agressive link power management but I didn't find the option and then it hit me.

While testing the Mojave switch, I was using multiple spare SSDs and my motherboard would not post. And on the internet they recommended to disable OPROM for the SATA Controller on the BIOS and make the drives Hot Pluggable, which indeed worked.

So I went back and disabled Hot Plug feature on the SATA Controller(after I completed the Mojave install) and I haven't had a freeze yet. At the beginning I thought it was the new clover build, Chrome because it would mostly happen while just a video was playing.

Hope that someone finds it useful.

Config is broken.

Upload CLOVER folder minus themes if you have a lot and remove serial numbers. Copy to desktop first.

Whole folder not just config.plist.

Interesting! - I've turned off aggressive link power management. I don't seem to have an option for hot plug on my bios. We'll see how this goes.

First things first,

You are using both the Other folder and 10.14 folder for the same kexts? Pick one and use it, personally i put FakeSMC/VirtualSMC + related kexts in other and all other OS kexts in 10.14.

Second.

Whatevergreen needs an update.

VoodooTSCSync.kext is unfamiliar to me.

USBInjectAll.kext needs updating.

SMCProcessor.kext is useless without VirtualSMC.kext.

NullEthernet.kext is also unfamiliar to me. Do you have ethernet?

Lilu.kext needs updating.

HibernationFixup.kext is unknown to me, do you need it?

FakeSMC.kext is fine but if you want to use SMCProcessor.kext you will need to get and replace FakeSMC with VirtualSMC.

AppleALC.kext Needs updating.

Third

ACPI

change _OSI to XOSI is void unless you have the matching SSDT. (Correct if i'm wrong).

Are you sure you need those DSDT fixes?

Kernel and Kext Patches

Remove what is no longer needed (Audio patches).

SMBIOS

Info is old, Copy out your serial numbers, reselect your smbios from menu to update information then copy and paste your serials back.
