teeodor Posted October 27, 2018 Share Posted October 27, 2018 Hi, i have a problem with boot in my asus k53sc after a clover update. Now i boot normally with normal boot, but if i want to boot up with a uefi boot doesn't work. The countdown is slowly and than the screen became black and after some second the notebook restart. I have tried my times to delete al files in esp and install clover, i have this problem about 1 month and than i have updated clover many times, but i can't solve this problem. Badruzeus Posted October 27, 2018 Share Posted October 27, 2018 (edited) @teeodor your K53SC board is similar with mine; not really sure it' s exactly same but AFAIK on this BIOS (with AMI firmware) it has "Boot Entry" option. Simply create a new UEFI entry pointing to CLOVERX64.efi eg: \efi\clover\cloverx64.efi ... then change it's order as 1st Boot.
