SavageAUS Posted October 17, 2018 Share Posted October 17, 2018 Hi guys, as I can’t seem to get iMessage working on both my hacks I’m thinking about purchasing a broken MacBook Air (mid 2012) (black screen) should work with hdmi I’m guessing, could I just scavenge the serial, mlb etc for my laptop hack? SavageAUS Posted October 17, 2018 Author Share Posted October 17, 2018 there's a good hack for macbooks, its called Clamshell mode. as long as you have a USB or bluetooth mouse and keyboard you can use it with closed laptop screen and external monitor. it works like a mac mini or imac that way, its kinda groovy. why scavenge the serial etc? clover does it quite well these daysI can’t get iMessage working.
