AbhilashSathe
Is ther any specific in case of Mojave that we need to do so that it manages CPU properly and doesn't heat so easily. When I was on high sierra, with a casual usage my laptop temperature stayed around 55. Now it's 75-80. What could be the wrong? I have disabled NVIDIA and my native HD 4400 INTEL card works fine. PPCnostalgic
Good evening. If you don't post your complete hardware configuration how can we help you? It would be the same as saying "my car makes a strange noise, what could be the reason?" 1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/335855-laptop-heating-quite-soon-on-mojave/#findComment-2639387 Share on other sites

AbhilashSathe
I figured out the issue, NVIDIA was the culprit. Disabled it through SSDT and some clover configs, and now temperature is fine.
