FCPX is good application but i mostly using Davinci resolve for both CG and editing, new Radeon GPU are expensive comparing to the Z which give better perfoemance in encoding...but maybe after the GTX 20XXX will come out the Radeon price will drop..? vusun123 Posted September 10, 2018 Share Posted September 10, 2018 Go AMD GPU for macOS. The RX 580 beats the GTX 1080Ti in term of performance on macOS apps that use Metal 2 and OpenCL.
