thanks for the info, appriciate it,

still digging,.... for the sil3132 card, 2ports pci express, might need to flash bios and load drivers

prior to using, not something it will install of the bet,.....

anybody got a 2 port or 4 port sata card working pci express preffered ???

- sil3132 has osx drivers for download

There are no RAID drivers, not even for the supported Sil3132.

- sil3114 pci card with 4 ports is a raid card, as such, don't think it will boot/work

- sil3112 adaptec 1204s not working,.... pci 2 ports

any of the mac adapters work ?

ACARD AEC6290M

that leaves rocketraid 2xxx cards, for starters to expensive, might as well get a bigger motherboard,

oops need a bigger case too.

still looking for 10.4.8 ,

guess by next year, I'll be running real macs,...

thanks, Rob

Silicon Image 3132 has native drivers that work (i'm using it).

ASUS P5B Deluxe works with 6SATA from ICH8R (P965) (and 2 from JMB363).

MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum (PCB rev 1.0) has a Silicon Image 3114 with 4 SATA ports that work.

Search the forum, it's all there.

RocketRAID 2300 with the driver from RocketRAID 2310 (they similar do not differ :))

The controller can make the RAID 0(In my case) quite successfully in the system OS X JaS.10.4.8.SSE3.Intel.Only

RAID 0=ST3400633AS 400 GB + ST3400633AS 400 GB It is created in controller BIOS

I assume it is not bootable? Anyone know any bootable PCIe RAID cards? (I mean, with bootable hardware RAID).

anybody got raptors on osx ?

Yes, and they are for sale too: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=33081

I believe the only bootable RAID on OS X at the moment is soft RAID on PPC (not x86, even on real Macs).

With RocketRaid 2310.

Can I do a Raid0, with two partitions, one on NTFS, and other with +HFs??

I want a sata controller that i can make a RAID0, and i will be recognized by OSX ?

Sorry for wake up the topic.

Did anyone know his question?

I'd like to know too. I just dig and dig, but never seems to find the answer.

And, by the way....

RAID 0=ST3400633AS 400 GB + ST3400633AS 400 GB It is created in controller BIOS

Mr. Macks.

When you see your RAID0 400x2 as one 800GB Harddrive in your OsX86.

Do you also see it the same (one 800GB) in your Windows(Native windows, not VMwere or Parallels)?

Thanks

Thomas
