Adrian Fogge
Assuming that you have a copy already residing on a DVD, and you have a working Mac at the moment, open Disk Utility, Create a new Disk Image, save it somewhere on your computer, insert your Leopard DVD, select the image itself and choose Restore. Drag the DVD to the Source box, drag the mounted disc image to the Destination box. Press Restore. You now have an exact copy of the DVD sitting on your hard drive in a DMG. Dang, you sure take the long way around doing that. The quicker way is to open Disk Utility, insert your DVD, select the DVD (not the DVD Drive) in the left side of Disk Utility, click the New Image button, then Save (give it whatever name you want).
