LolloSanna Posted January 6, 2018 Share Posted January 6, 2018 Ciao a tutti, ho appena avuto l'onore di installare per la prima volta mac sul mio notebook Asus...è il mio primissimo hackintosh quindi. C'è però un problema...non riesce a leggere la mia scheda wifi. Ho una scheda Broadcom 802.11n Network Adapter (vendor id: 14e4 device id: 4365). Cosa posso fare? Posso risolvere in qualche modo con qualche kext oppure devo per forza cambiarla? foskvs Posted January 7, 2018 Share Posted January 7, 2018 Prendi quella suggerita da @MARZILLO, che funziona bene. La BCM943142HM era montata sul mio portatile in firma. WiFi non compatibile e Bluetooth che può funzionare con un paio di kext dopo il riavvio da Windows. Sostituita appunto con una BCM94352HMB. Ultima cosa...per la scheda atheros che ho nominato (ar5b125) ho visto in quel topic che è compatibile attraverso una patch....ma non ho capito quale. Dice "FW+Atheros40 patch"...che significa FW? Inoltre non avresti accesso alle funzionalità delle schede Airport. Quindi vado direttamente sulla Atheros AR5B95 ? Per risparmiare 15 euro (costa 15 euro ricondizionata dal venditore su ebay) non mi conviene fare casini col firmware e cose simili. Vale la spesa, è stabile e probabilmente sarà supportata ancora per molto tempo. Se invece vuoi riciclare qualcosa che già hai, controlla prima il formato della scheda. Tieni in considerazione che se in futuro vorrai quesi servizi, sarai costretto a comprare un modulo combo, perché non basta aggiungere una chiavetta BT.
