Masna
Hey everyone. I just leeched Vista Final, and attempted to install. I used Boot Camp, but ran into one major issue: the installation said that Windows couldn't find a compatible drive to install on. I made sure I formatted to NTFS (not FAT32), and what not, and still no luck. Any ideas? Thanks. rollcage
try reformatting a couple times. i had the same problem as i installed it a few times (playing around with different versions). go into bootcamp, restore to a single volume, and then repartition with a different size (1 gb bigger worked for me) and then try to install again. it is a really weird quirk, i'd like to know what causes it. eightballbill
You should check the first partition or at least the first ntfs partition of your hard drive as the active partition. this will solve the problem. hitman38
Vista requires a 40gb partition with 15gb free, don't ask why it's just strange. rollfaster
To assign it as active, grab hiren's boot cd and use the filesystem tools to set your win partition as active.
