The onboard USB3 chip works on Mavericks only, later systems it doesn't, I have a similar motherboard and the chip is a NEC Renesas. If you need USB3 connection go for a PCIe adaptor, they aren't too expensive. And install that with Kext Wizard and reboot? Should "onboard USB 3.0" setting be OFF or ON in BIOS? Thanks! Do I have to disable "USB 3.0 onboard controller" in BIOS maybe? E.g., I see one that says "VL805 + VL812" -- is the the chipset? thanks!
