Doing online speed tests i noticed the internet speed in both firefox and safari is about 1/3 of what it is under windows. is there any fix for this? i'm pretty sure i'm using the forcedeth kext from a few months ago. pupdawg Posted November 15, 2006 Share Posted November 15, 2006 Yes it's very true the forcedeth.kext used is a port of the older BSD forcedeth driver... the latest linux forcedeth takes care of many of the issues I'm having but I'm not sure how to port it to OSX but I'm going to work on it a bit tonight... I'm not sure I can do a direct port from the latest linux to OSX but I'm going to try anyway bump anyone do internet speed tests?
