joe75
You don't have to just be nVidia users, any one who respects the work of np_ should drop in and let him know http://www.macvidia.com/index.php?option=c...amp;topic=932.0 Edited January 20, 2007 by joe75
aberracus
np_has been the light giving hope for all nvdia owners, he choosed the long a dificult path of making from zero a driver, now its not needed anymore (not because titan or nati are better drivers, no they arent drivers, just a conductor wich enables the apple original drivers, a carrier), but we the comunity can remember his effort and the hope he gave us, so he can be proud ever of his own achviments and his goals. Long life np_ And Macvidia could have its own life in teh apple sunopported cards, but i think, maybe, a Guru like a np_ should move to better projects liek giving us the community leopard. np_ is one of the Right Staff, and is up in the OX86 sky constellations, so be proud man. (i posted here because i am not registered in macvidia, if anyone want to cite me please do it, thanks, thanks np_)
mifki
its not needed anymore What the f***, of course its needed, geex titan was also part his work as well, are you stupid man, titan only works for certain cards, not all cards, np_ is writing a driver (a actual driver not a smokescreen) that gives support to all the other cards. Thanks np_
joe75
now its not needed anymore aberracus, I think we know what you mean Lets take Windows for an example. You get some crazy new video card, and you cant wait to get home and fire up that new bad ass game you just downloaded off some torrent site . The first thing your gonna do is pop in that CD and start loading them drivers up just waiting to shoot some alien scum, then you down load the latest drivers that just happen to give some extra jazz to all the big explosions and guns blazing. Your going to pick up like 10 fps from some mint tweak that they just added, oh yah, now your all loaded up , you restart, and spend hours trying to beat every score you see listed on the Internet. OR You can plug it in, let Windows load up some basic drivers that were supplied to let you install the system and look at {censored} for the rest of you life. I pick the first one. np_ has the knowledge and skill to give us real GPU drivers, that is something all users can not afford to lose. If np_ and omni can team up together more often the possibilities are endless.
GP1138
I don't know if its a thing with developers, but it seems you guys are a little thin skinned when it comes to childish comments. x2... They can do a hell of a great job getting video, sound and input drivers together from scratch, but let some immature/impatient prick come along and it's immediately quit time. I don't understand it. I'm not trying to be a {censored}, but come on now. Please ignore the morons, and do what you can to the people who truly care and understand how much time, effort, and sometimes money is involved in development. np_ and Omni are the biggest reasons OSX86 is tolerable on the computers I use. DaemonES
Apple can in the next version of kext and kernel include some protection or encrypt EFI keys in IORegistry, or make something other, so MacVidia must live
