Hello,

I'm trying to upgrade a Hackintosh from 10.9.5 to Sierra. I have a gigabyte B85M-D3H motherboard and i5 4570. It's so long ago I can't remember how I installed it. I think I used #####.

I tried just downloading Sierra from the App Store. That doesn't work. It gives error "this disk doesn't use the guid partition scheme". There doesn't seem to be any easy way to fix this without wiping the partition.

I searched on google how to upgrade, but all solutions seem to work only if you installed from Clover which I haven't done.

Anyone have any advice? Should I just forget upgrading and install from scratch?

Listen, I'm just asking for help, because I need to upgrade.

Follow the tips given to you, and search how do it.

I don't care about which tool I have to use as long as it does the job!

Here, you should care! You are a member since 2008, until now you didn't read the Rules??
