1. Listen, I'm just asking for help, because I need to upgrade. I don't care about which tool I have to use as long as it does the job!
2. Hello, I'm trying to upgrade a Hackintosh from 10.9.5 to Sierra. I have a gigabyte B85M-D3H motherboard and i5 4570. It's so long ago I can't remember how I installed it. I think I used #####. I tried just downloading Sierra from the App Store. That doesn't work. It gives error "this disk doesn't use the guid partition scheme". There doesn't seem to be any easy way to fix this without wiping the partition. I searched on google how to upgrade, but all solutions seem to work only if you installed from Clover which I haven't done. Anyone have any advice? Should I just forget upgrading and install from scratch?
3. Quicky question: Is it possible to carrier unlock a iphone 3gs with the new bootrom? I know you can jailbreak it, but I can't find any info about a carrier unlock. thanks
4. Is it possible to tell that you are running a hackintosh? I think os x sends data back to Apple for automatic updates and stuff. I'm just wondering if anyone can tell the difference between a normal mac and a hackintosh using this info (or by any other means).
5. spanish keyboard not working

It's a pc keyboard. Now I played around with it a bit, I see the windows key in combination with `+ gives the square brackets. Normally you would use the alt-gr key
6. I have spanish iso set in preferences, but half the keys are not mapped properly. The square brackets, tilda and various other keys are wrong. Is there anyway to get correct mappings?
7. ps2 keyboard

iDeneb worked... great, now I have my Hackintosh working perfectly ... except that I have to unplug the keyboard and plug back in again to get it working.
8. ps2 keyboard

I see from this post: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=123200 that iDeneb includes ApplePS2Controller, so maybe if I install this one instead it'll work
9. ps2 keyboard

I tried reinstalling. In jas there is no option for ApplePS2Controller.kext, but there is one called pips something or other. I selected that but it still doesn't detect the keyboard.
10. ps2 keyboard

Ok. I see there is a fix called ApplePS2Controller.kext. But I wouldn't I need the keyboard working in the first place before I can install it?
11. ps2 keyboard

Is it possible to get a ps2 keyboard working on leopard? I have JaS 10.5.4 installed and it boots up fine until I get a message "please plug in keyboard"
12. Ok, thanks for the answer!
13. I read in some installation instructions that installing Leopard will format hard drive completely, so you need a machine with 2 drives if you want to keep your current Windows installation. But in other guides it says nothing about this. Can anyone shed some light on this?
