This message appears when signing in Apple Store, iBooks & iCloud with my Hackintosh Mavericks 10.9.5. After trying different methods, finally I solved it and decided to share to others. I´ve created a Step by Step Guide complete and easy to follow straitght ahead. Tools needed: Efi Studio & Kext Wizard. Hope it works for you.

FIX APP STORE

1. OPEN EFI STUDIO:

Select Device>Ethernet>Add Device>Copy to clipboard hexadecimal second window>Write to> com.appleBoot.plist> Open Boot.plist Editor>

select “device-properties”>click on device-properties>select Value>delete>paste clipboard hexadecimal.

2. EDIT CHAMELEON .PLIST:

COPY AND PASTE, ON LAST ROW. JUST BEFORE FINAL DICT AND PLIST:

        <key>PCIRootUID</key>

        <string>1</string>

        <key>EthernetBuiltIn</key>

        <string>Yes</string>

        <key>device-properties</key>

The hexadecimal code is individual, the one generated priorly by Efi Studio and copied before,retained on clipboard. Now, paste it here,

between <string> </string>:

<string>4b00000001000000010000003f0000000100000002010c00d041030a0100000001010600011c0101060000007fff0400160000006200750069006c0074002d0069006e0000000500000001</string>

</dict>

</plist>

 So finally, the total script added to your existing chameleon.plist, should look like this:

        <key>PCIRootUID</key>

        <string>1</string>

        <key>EthernetBuiltIn</key>

        <string>Yes</string>

        <key>device-properties</key>   <string>4b00000001000000010000003f0000000100000002010c00d041030a0100000001010600011c0101060000007fff0400160000006200750069006c0074002d0069006e0000000500000001</string>

</dict>

</plist>

3. DELETE NETWORK INTERFACES.plist  IN LIBRARY/PREFERENCES/SYSTEM CONFIGURATION (BACK UP IT FIRST FOR SECURITY REASON)

4. KEXT WIZARD 2011:

Full Maintenance: Extra+S/L/E

5.REBOOT

6.SYSTEM PREFERENCES:

Network> Delete Ethernet>Create new Ethernet>(Has to appear only “Ethernet” without en_0 or _1)>Negociate DCHP>Save>Set Service Order: First, Ethernet

Hope this will work for you.

On my Mavericks 10.9.5 works flawless.

Best regards

Kinberly.

It´s true. Do you know why has been seen 237 times in 24 hours?

Just because people like me, who have tried everything for days to make work app store didn´t find the right method complete anywhere for Mavericks.

And a lot of novice people on hackintosh are still on Mavericks as start point to learn.

Searching all forum and guides and googling all round, you can find only half answers and partially copied methods that doesn´t work,

and posts by people copying other´s work and posting it badly without knowing what they are doing.

That´s why I donate my time and my effort, ´cause i´m not programmer nor developer, just user, in love with my hackintosh to help a lot of people like me who has still, though it´s on Mavericks, the same problem and can´t solve it.

Sorry If you think I´ve wasted my time and other´s, like you.

Kinberly.

Thanks for posting.  It appears to be a legitimate legacy fix.  It probably doesn't belong in the New Releases section.  Still, great fonts-easy reading for this guy's old eyes.

P.S. - I'm with Slice.  Running Sierra 10.12.6 beta with Clover.  But I kept a partition of Mavericks on a Zotec Z-box set up as a MacMini.
