Then i updated to 10.12.6... any isea how to get the l420 to boot on 10.12.6 EDIT Fixed this issue by reinstalling the OS FRESH. Ran into a problem were the macOS installer would not work stating something along the lines "Connect computer to Power source". What fixed this for me was when this message came up I pulled the battery out of the pc and it proceeded to install MacOS 10.12.6.
