USB DOES NOT WORK: Asus P5LD2-VM 2.0 with JaS 10.4.8 Reseed

First off, the system won't even enter graphical mode without selecting the GMA950 package, whether I'm using GMA950 or not on the P5LD2-VM.

 

Once in OS X, I get errors on loading the IOUSBFamily.kext (in yellow) and none of my USB devices work. Firewire, however, does.

 

Anyone having similar issues? I'm about ready to throw in the towel on 10.4.8.

reinstall -> Do NOT select the "USB Fix" during installation.

Installing the USB Package worked. Thanks. I did NOT select the USB 2.0 Fix on the JaS DVD. It's b0rked.

In installed USB 2 fix and now I cannot use USB anymore.

How can I solve this problem.

There is only log package. IOUSBFamily-261.4.2_Intel.pkg seems like apple removed it.

Reinstall without the USB 2 fix and get the latest file from here: http://developer.apple.com/hardwaredrivers...d/usbdebug.html
