Make sure you install the correct ones depending on the OS X version you're using and it's build number. Have a look here : Nvidia Web Driver updates for Yosemite Nvidia Web Driver updates for El Capitan Nvidia Web Driver updates for macOS And this topic : NVIDIA Web Driver Updater PS : VGA is supported on OS X as long as you're using discrete cards and not IGPU to connect your monitor. The problem is not with the display but with OS X stock drivers which are not compatible with Maxwell cards such as GTX 750 Ti or 9xx Series.
