Dr. Hurt
It's a known issue with the voodoops2 driver. No fix yet as of writing this. A temporary workaround is replacing the prefpane with the el capitan version, which works but settings are not preserved across reboots. 1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/315768-blank-trackpad-setting-in-sierra/#findComment-2283502 Share on other sites
Riley Freeman
I think RehabMan is waiting for the Sierra sources to come out so he can see what Apple have changed. It also affects keyboard function keys. 1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/315768-blank-trackpad-setting-in-sierra/#findComment-2283522 Share on other sites

NOTNlCE
Rehabman suggests copying the Trackpad preference pane from 10.11 as a temporary workaround.
