Send me vanilla DSDT + SSDT plz.

At clover boot screen Press F4.

Load EFI partition > Clover > ACPI > origin.

Zip it all and attach. If old files are in the origin folder delete them first.

Also is your bios up to date?

Might be time to start from scratch.

Hi Savage,

Yes the BIOS is up to date.

Fresh copies of dsdt and ssdt.  New ones from F4 at clover boot screen.

I used CleanMyMac and after that I shutdown last night.

I'm looking to see what may be blocking sleep.

So I used pmset -g assertions which shows the VGA Cam and Mouse LED at 255

When I look in Console too many wakes to keep the system from sleeping.

average 160 should be considerably less.

paste of :  FAILED to initialize WiFiVelocity engine

this is constantly trying to initialize.  start - restart - shutdown : cycle is continuous.

Thanks Savage,

Mak

How did you solve the error with your dsdt when renaming GFX0 -> IGPU?

Can you please extract tables with linux?

Guide taken from HERE Credit @RehabMan

Extracting with Linux:

In Linux, the native ACPI files are available directly from the file system. You can find them at /sys/firmware/acpi/tables and /sys/firmware/acpi/tables/dynamic. It is possible to copy the entire set with a single command in Terminal.

It is not necessary to install Linux. Simply run it from USB: http://www.ubuntu.com/download/desktop/create-a-usb-stick-on-windows.

In Linux Terminal:

Code (Text):

# substitute DEST with the mountpoint of a FAT32 formatted USB stick
sudo cp -R /sys/firmware/acpi/tables DEST

You should copy the files to a FAT32 formatted USB. Using FAT32 avoids permissions issues as FAT32 has no file permissions. The value of DEST for an auto-mounted USB will depend on the version of Linux you're using and how you booted it. You can see the mount-point by typing 'mount' in Terminal, or hover your mouse over the volume name in the Linux file explorer.

I use the Rename Patch from the repository a Rehabmans.

http://raw.github.com/RehabMan/Laptop-DSDT-Patch/master. copy this into your MacIASL preferences.  the rename is there  GFX0 to IGPU

Good News! Shutdown Now Works. I used and edited Rehmans/ Toleda. Intel Shutdown patch.

The last line in the patch caused problems

shuts down turns power off.

Unchecked Fix Shutdown and WAK.  Now have to test for sleep.

Also which darkwake value I set to.

Lots of work still ahead.

Wifi velocityd is spamming my kernel like every 5 secs.

it I believe sets the 2.4/5Ghz speed.  Not sure.  still learning.

You mentioned you are using a Wifi BT combo chip.  Did you have any problems configuring it?

I bought this current chip because I read that it had a combo wifi bt not so.  the writing was misleading.

Thanks a bunch!

Mak
