What, if anything would have to be switched out to make this a Hacintosh, I'm assuming the WIFI card, though maybe not, it's a Qualcomm Atheros QCA9377. Primarily I'm curious if it would be worth it, the Graphics is an Intel HD 400, which is built into the CPU, so it's an APU. It has 1.6GHZ dual Core, but can ramp up to 2.48GHZ and does so easily, is passively cooled and never gets that hot even under heavy use. The ram is a tad limited at 4GB, and is not expandable.

I use this computer as a work machine and play casual games on the go or while I'm at work when I have down time. With windows it plays Diablo 3 just fine, which was primarily what I wanted it to be able to do, and I know OSX can do so. So, would it be worth putting OSX on here, and if yes, what would be the primary hurdles for getting it installed?

Hello and welcome to InsanelyMac!  :)

Your hardware doesn't compatible with OS X, the Intel HD 400 is not used by Apple, only Intel HD 4000 and above.

To my understanding, the Intell HD 400 is NEWER than the HD 4000 and based on the Intel HD 5300 http://www.notebookcheck.net/Intel-HD-Graphics-400-Braswell.169243.0.htmlsee here, it's just slower.

Ok, you're right.

But the case is, Apple doesn't give support for your GPU, sorry  :(
