crashnburn_in
What does this Zip file do? Would it allow/ help a current or older OSX work on Braswell / Cherry Trail box? Curious?
crashnburn_in
These are replacement kernels that add support for those CPUs listed above! You therefore replace the vanilla kernel (file "mach_kernel" at HDD's root for Mavericks, "kernel" in /S/L/Kernels for Yosemite) by the version(s) posted above. Failing that, you'll never even boot your OS X USB installer. Granted that, given the thread title, Spakk would have been better inspired posting his Yosemite kernel in its own separate thread. Gotcha! Thanks for the detailed response. So, essentially we still do not know if these work or worked for any of the above listed processers? Windoge 10
I created an account to help out on this, I will try this kernel within the next 12 hours, I own a Baytrail Asus T100 which has a Atom Z3740, 64gb eMMc SSD, 2GB Ram, Intel HD. it is running a tri boot right now (Win10, Ubuntu, Android5), I am happy to try out this kernel and mess around to see if it boots. I have a bit of experience with "hackintoshing" I have built 2 and turned a few dell laptops. If you need any experimenting done. I am not afraid of bricking my device as its cracked so just let me know. Thanks Also, so far I can only get it to boot 32Bit Windows and other OS'es so im not sure if this will work. E.Miller
Tried booting with the Kernel for 10.10, but even did not come to clover for boot. I have T100HA (64bit UEFI and Atom x5). Only Black screen when i select the UEFI Thumb Drive, so Clover even doesn't show up, any clues out there? Would like to try your kernel for the CherryTrail Atom.
