Dwarfy
I attempted to get AppleALC working, the guide said to edit my plist.config with the codec of my mobo which I did, and then add the apple kext to the efi kext folder under the 'other' folder...now my computer can't boot...how can I undo this? Cheers Well, just use your install USB you had your clover on and then get into OS X then remove the kext from your SSD's EFI. infernouk
Well, just use your install USB you had your clover on and then get into OS X then remove the kext from your SSD's EFI. Thanks managed to work it out myself! just had to re do it a load of times because of fails on boot. Back up and working again but still on voodoo. Is there a reliable guides for Apple or Clover ALC? I googled one but am more wary now after that experience! As far as i would think, if im using an external audio interface, this shouldnt matter? As OSX isnt using audio outputs? Yet its still swapping sample rates! ergot
Sorry to bump into this post... My DSDT on "unknown cpu" Xeon was run manually and i have edited all to fit my cpu, my geek bench results were drop down from 29k to 23k 64bit but looks like my sleep issue resolved although is system pref i don't see the sleep bar (can configure it via terminal so its ok).- oh...now i can see power nap option Without DSDT and with some fakecpuid and in kext/other having nullcpu my system looks faster... how can i verify that my DSDT is OK? (running in AiL show no errors) Cinebence results also drop down... I should delete NullCPU right? - removed - no effects my score went down even more....strange Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/313114-got-osx-to-install-once-cant-ever-get-it-to-pass-logo-again-v-shot-inside-please-help/page/3/#findComment-2252937 Share on other sites
