owner00
Hi, I have installed El Capitan (downloaded from App Store) with ##### method (Clover bootloader). Everything worked out of the box (except audio which I fixed with #####) but my new hackintosh does not turn off. Reboot is working just fine. Shutting down through UI turns off the monitor but hdd and CPU keep running. I tried sudo halt and it used to turn off the PC immediately but this is not a healthy shut down method and it is not working anymore. I tried sudo shutdown -h now but it could not turn off. My system: GA-P43-ES3G Intel Core 2 Quad Q9300 Using NullCPUPowerManagement kext with SMBIOS iMac9,1 I am not using a patched DSDT simply because everything worked out of the box. I am using a USB mouse and a USB camera and both were recognized and working flawlessly. Anyone that can help me? Thanks!

If so, apply the FixSBUS and that should, probably, fix your problem. There is a more advanced fix but it's applied in the dsdt manually or using clover's Binary DSDT patching. Off topic, using null cpu power management could cause problems to your cpu. In order to avoid using it, you should edit the dsdt, specifically the return method in the hpet section. You can search for information on this forum or I could help you, as long as you provide a DSDT file. I don't know how the Binary DSDT patching works yet, and frankly, it's easier to edit plain text, so to speak. Best of luck.

owner00
Hi Allan, Thank you for welcoming me! I have used tonymacx86 products for installing and for the post-install needs my hackintosh needed (driver audio). I have yet to pay anything to tonymacx86. I am a programmer from Albania trying to learn XCode and all I want to achieve is have my hackintosh up and running flawlessly so I can learn. I know that very capable programmers did the work tonymacx is giving out for free. So can I go on and accept @Needy's help for my DSDT? Thank you and great job with the site.
