theconsumer1
Hi everyone. Specs: GA Z97 D3H (Rev 1.1, latest bios) i7 4790k (Brand new) EVGA GTX 650 1024mb 16 GB Hyper X 1866 PNY Optima SSD 120GB EVGA Supernova G2 550 watt 750 GB HDD NZXT s340 case Information: El Capitan 10.11.4 Clover DSDT and SSDT installed. Boot args: -v -xcpm darkwake=8 Only kexts used are for fakeSMC SMBIOS: iMac 14,2 (iMac 15,2 WOULD NOT WORK) Question: So, i just moved from an i5 4430 to this monster i7 4790k. Loving it. Problem is, i'm not sure if it is working correctly. I made a new SSDT last night. I inspect my result with Intel Power Gadget. The CPU frequency and wattage changes but now its not hitting peak turbo (4.4ghz) using geekebench test. Can someone help me make a new SSDT with PikerAlpha script? Will i need to make a NEW SSDT when overclocking? Is my SMBIOS Ok? ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Pic: Files: Clover Config Files for 4790k (6-8-16).zip Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/312450-4790k-ssdt-issues-help/ Share on other sites
