Redoginzer
Greetings Everyone, I needed some assistance. My system keeps on automatically rebooting after login. I login and the system will remain stable for about two to three minutes and then it will automatically reboot. I have not been able to edit the config.plist or generate a dsdt with Maciasl because the system does not stay up and running long enough for me to do so. The install for the system went fine, it is the post install that is giving me a headache. I followed the guide below almost to a tee. (My hardware does not match this exactly as my board is different.) Initially when I set the system up I could only get in using nv-disable =1. Now after the install, and installing the web drivers, I log in using nvda_drv=1 and it boots up just fine. As stated the issue is after it has been up and running and I am logged in. The system will just reboot after two to three minutes. I am still using a clover USB stick to log in. I have tried a few boot flags to see what it would yield but the same thing happens. perhaps I am missing something. What suggestions do you all have or what direction should I go with this? Any suggestions appreciated and thanks so much to everyone for your assistance. (I will update this thread as I try things that are suggested and as I keep experimenting.) http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/302041-guide-asrock-h97-pro4-yosemite-with-clover-uefi-installation/ My stats are listed below Motherboard: Asrock Z97 Pro4 Processor: I5 4690K Ram: A-Data DDR3 1600 System: El Capitan 10.11 Video Card: EVGA GT740 SC Bootloader: Clover r3333 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/310668-system-reboots-after-logging-in/ Share on other sites
spakk
unfortunately I am not firm with clover, but I'm almost certain that it is up to your Haswell CPU, you need to patch in clover or download a suitable kernel for Hashwell for your installed OS X install version===> look up at download for Example use for 10.11.2 then the patched kernel for Haswell 10.11.2 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/310668-system-reboots-after-logging-in/#findComment-2211535 Share on other sites
