scleone87
Hi all, I have a perfectly working machine which runs El Capitan 10.11.1 on Clover r3330 bootloader. Is it safe to update to 10.11.2? My PC specs are in my signature. Thanks. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/309785-el-capitan-10112-is-it-safe-to-update/ Share on other sites

alaskantraveler
make sure you have a kernel for your system. I had to go find one fore mine. Haswell machines require some different things to be enabled in order to boot. Synthology
Greetings All, I have seen a few random reboots since Yosemite on this particular machine. However, I have seen far too many reboots after this update. I managed to get it running. It actually runs rather smooth. But I am getting far too many random reboots at any given time after updating. I'm lucky I got past this posting before rebooting on its own. If anyone has any info on this issue, please advise. My setup is in my sig below. Thanks in advance.
