Good Evening everyone, I have a specific question to ask and I was wondering whether you could help me out. Let me start by giving you some info: I hate the flat design of OS X Yosemite and above. So, I was disappointed when my newly-purchased GTX 960 Maxwell was too new to run Mavericks. So I was wondering this: If I use the nv_disable=1 flag for my 960 SLI setup (to use them only in Windows 7) and buy an AMD Radeon R9 270 for my Mavericks partition (In particular, I was looking at a Sapphire R9 270 2GB), could I run the last good version of OS X? (In my opinion). I need your knowledge! Will this work with my system? Specs are as follows:

CPU: Intel Core i7-4770K

Motherboard: GA-Z87X-UD3H

GPUs: MSI GTX 960 SLI (and possibly a Sapphire R9 270)

RAM: 8GB Kingston HyperX

The only slot avaliable that my 960s aren't occupying is an x4. Will that matter or do I need an x8 for this. card? Also, how would I disable my R9 270 on Win7 OR could I have it working with my 960s on Windows 7 Ulimate x64?

Thanks!

As far as I am aware, should both graphics cards works with Yosemite and with El Capitan . probably I did not fully understand their concerns. Do you want to use all three graphics cards in to an hackintosh?

No, I wish only to use the R9 270 in MAVERICKS. I explained that I hate the flat design of Yosemite (Which I am currently forced to use because of my Maxwell card). What I want to do is use the R9 270 with Mavericks and my 960 SLI with Windows 7, or have my R9 270 working with my 960s in Windows to get more FPS. The thing I was wondering was whether I can disable my R9 270 in Windows (tor the first option) and use nv_disable=1 for Mavericks (Just to use the 270)

Thanks for the quick reply!
