So my Hack has been rebooting randomly and the reason is always com.apple.iokit.IOUSBHostFamily(1.0.1)

My z87mx-u3h does this too if I use sleep. After a sleep it will randomly reboot either right after wake or sometime during the next 24 hours or so, often during idle times.

Fix so far is to disable sleep in control panel.

 

No issues when it does not sleep.

I had a very similar issue, only my Hack was shutting down. Deleting my wi-fi and network preference files in /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration fixed the problem. It starts to happen again If I try and connect to my WPA2 Enterprise Wi-Fi.

 

Hope this helps. Its definitely an Apple/El Capitan bug at least on my end...

 

 

This fixed my shutdown on wake from sleep issues too.

So it seems to be working now.

I had to search for similar motherboard users on 10.11 to find the fix.

It involved a Clover Kext patch and some additional kexts installed in /L/E
