excaliburn92
Hello. I've successfully installed El Capitan on my PC. Specs: i5 6600k Intel HD 530 8GB DDR4 2400mhz ASrock Z170 Extreme4+ Sandisk SSD 120GB (Windows) Samsung SSD 120GB (Mac) Steps: Created a bootable USB Installed the latest Clover bootloader Added Pike's patch to /EFI/CLOVER/config.plist This may not be necessary but , I've downloaded and copied FAKESMC.kext and GenericUSBXHCI-1.2.8d7 to the kext folder on Clover and that somehow fixed the "Still waiting for root device" error. I'm not sure. Boot into the installer and install normally. Bugs/Glitches: - Artifacting (Doesn't do that in safe mode) - Screen gets messed up when changing resolutions. - Sound doesn't work (I'll look into that later) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/309238-asrock-z170-extreme4-i5-6600k/ Share on other sites

Because I am having screen tearing and my gpu isn't recognized I believe. Any ideas?
