Hello. I've successfully installed El Capitan on my PC.

Specs:

i5 6600k

Intel HD 530

8GB DDR4 2400mhz

ASrock Z170 Extreme4+

Sandisk SSD 120GB (Windows)

Samsung SSD 120GB (Mac)

Steps:

Created a bootable USB

Installed the latest Clover bootloader

Added Pike's patch to /EFI/CLOVER/config.plist

This may not be necessary but , I've downloaded and copied FAKESMC.kext and GenericUSBXHCI-1.2.8d7 to the kext folder on Clover and that somehow fixed the "Still waiting for root device" error. I'm not sure.

Boot into the installer and install normally.

Bugs/Glitches:

- Artifacting (Doesn't do that in safe mode)

- Screen gets messed up when changing resolutions.

- Sound doesn't work (I'll look into that later)

are you sure integrated graphics are working?

can you check tools like OpenGL extensions viewer o post a screenshoot "About this Mac" info clicking on the Apple logo on the upper menu..

or tools like Unigine Heaven or Luxmark for OpenCl acceleration..

also post Metal if it's working?

The integrated graphics is working but it's artifacting , and the screen gets messed up when changing resolutions.

hey I have similar specs but I have and i7 6700k,16bg ram, gtx 970, as rock extreme 4. Are you still having the artifacting? Because I am having screen tearing and my gpu isn't recognized I believe.

Any ideas?

HD530 works  now in 10.11.4, and did you install web drivers for your Nvidia card?

Did you sort out the graphics issues? I would like to ask is power management working on your 6700K?
