fraz7
Hello everyone, I'm new to Hackintoshing, pretty much totally - Not long ago I read about Hackintosh and I thought it was somebody making fun out of you know what. I googled it and found out what it basically was and was interested. From the point of knowing nothing I went on to the Tonymac86 site to learn a bit more about how this is done. I've gone through the basic process which I'm not here to discuss [i've read the top of this forum] but to explain how I've ended up here on this forum. I now have a Hackintosh that is running OS X Yosemite but there is alot I would like to know about how the forum members here go about setting up their Hackintoshes with installation procedures etc..... I do not know how to edit a DSDT or anything in that area and the only way I will is if the forum members here can explain how this is done. I've got a little closer to it but there are some elements I just don't understand yet. Very nice to have a quiz to be able to post here in the first place, I failed the first two attempts and got locked out - thanks - but 3rd r 4th time lucky I got an 8 out of 10 with the final question I was about to answer correctly Anyway I hope this is a good place to be, I'm not a programmer or developer but just a regular user who'd like to know enough to get by hackintoshing
duduclx
hackintoshing is not a fair. you can read guide, but few guide are detailled. you can look at clover wiki to learn about options. usually, we learn with making a hackintosh on differents computer. i've done around 10 hackintosh since 10.5 version of mac os x, and i only understand the (good or perfect) process about a few week. first thing, do more and more hackintosh with different computer to enlarge your knowledge. i tried to explain the process with my last install on samsung tablet. i took me about 20 hours spend in 10 days. it was a good learning step. hope this guide will help you to begin: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/307911-guide-samsung-ativ-smart-pro-xe700t1c-1010x-and-10110-100/ please, update your profile/signature with your hackintosh details (see mine for example). and welcome !
