bluenote56
I would not recommend it. Always use latest kexts. Hi Allan I have a mixed configuration (Z77 with HD 3000 + GTX 560 Ti) and I always had problems to make HD 3000 recognized and working. The only solution for me was to use modded kexts. As a matter of fact I'm still using some kexts I found in download section and everytime I update the system I have to use them again with kext wizard. I'm on Chameleon. I know this is not the right way to do that and maybe it can be related also to my Preview app that doesn't work well since my first Yosemite installation. Could you please suggest me the right way to fix that? Now I'm on 10.10.4 of course. Thanks in advance.

EDIT: So, what video graphics you want use? Because switchable graphics in hackintosh don't work.
bluenote56
well actually I don't know why but if I boot with HD 3000 (chosen as first in BIOS) and then unplug the HDMI cable and plug it in GTX 560 it works. I mean they work both. Btw I would like to fix the HD 3000 issue and be free to choose it in BIOS without troubles. Anyway if (with these settings) I choose Nvidia as first choice in BIOS it doesn't work. It starts and then I get a blank screen. Preview app works without issues on another HD with Mavericks. Thanks for your help and patience.
Allan
Ok. What bootloader are you using? And how you enable your GTX? Try this about Preview
bluenote56
sorry for my late reply Allan. Yeah I tried that trick and Preview works a little better but if you try to edit a file it ends with a scrambled pic. Btw I thought it could be this build with Z77X UP4 TH and HD 3000 and tried on another build with Z68X UD3H B3 with just a simple NVIDIA 610 with 10.10.3 and it doesn't work either. I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong during installation but sincerely I can't find an answer. Thanks anyway.
Allan
Make a test. Just use HD 3000, and see if you don't have problems. If everything works fine, put the GT 610!
