Hello All,

Good day. I am Vinod a.k.a korrupted80. I am in my early 30s and love anything to do with technology.

I am reasonably good with computers and have experienced windows and some linux too.

I am a tech enthusiast and have a Raspberry pi and a Android Tablet - Nexus 7 (2012) too.

I also do some programming but have been out of touch for quite some time now. Will be brushing up on these.

This is a great place to start a project that I have been wanting to do.

I already have a machine setup with intention of running a hackintosh. I already have the Mavericks installer with me on file.

Also have a 16GB USB drive formatted with Mac's Extended Journal filer.

My PC Specs:
Processor: Intel i7 4790 LGA1150 3.60GHz/8MB
Mobo: Gigabyte GA-Z97X-UD3H-BK
Chipset: Intel® Z97 Express Chipset
Drives: Liteon 24x DVDRW Sata
Western Digital Green 1TB - Windows 7 Pro
Western Digital Green 1TB - Reserved for Mac OS X

SSD: 256GB Transcend
USB: 6x 3.0/2.0 ports
8x 2.0/1.1 ports
Power: Cooler Master G600
Graphic Card: On Board Intel HD

I have already installed Niresh Mavericks within a VM on another machine (AMD) and it seems to work fine.

That's it for now, until the next post...  :smoke:

I would like to suggest you visit www.rampagedev.com. The web site explains (in detail) the process of installing MacOS X. It would seem that you even have a USB loaded to start.

I just built a very similar machine using the GA-Z97X-UD7 motherboard and the Intel 4790K CPU.

If you have installed the USB with Mavericks - createinstallmedia script, you  are really ready to install.
