USB only works if device is plugged in on boot, and USB stops working when all devices unplugged with Clover UEFI

So I've got my hackintosh laptop (Asus K55A-253sa) almost completely working, the only problem is with my USB ports. This laptop has 2 USB3.0 ports and 1 USB 2 port. If I boot the system with no USB devices plugged in, USB doesn't work at all in the OS itself (it doesn't even seem to send power to the devices), if I start the system with a USB device plugged in, all the ports work fine, but if I unplug every USB device while the system is booted the ports stop working again.

 

I've tried every combination of USB relevant flags in my Clover config (Inject USB, Fix ownership, FixUSB, etc.) but nothing seems to fix it. It worked fine when I was using Chameleon.

Hi,

 

I tried the DSDT patch (used the usb_7-series.txt patch in the same repo instead of the one you linked as my chipset is HM76) and it didn't work, still the same problem. Any ideas?
