So I installed hackintosh (iATKOS) on a VM, and now it doesn't boot.

My host is AMD, but during the installation, it crashed the first time, then went all the way through the second run.

I'm guessing, "waiting for root device" means it can't see the hard drive partition?

Or is this due to something missing, from the installation?

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance

I've chased many rabbit down the hole of google only to come up empty.

I have AHCIPortInjector.kext in my /Extra/Extensions folder

I've tried with -f -x GraphicsEnabler=N and still no boot, but I did get a status message about the kernel not having a built dyld blob. (pic attached)

Is there any way you guys could help me narrow this down?

I feel like I'm so close, but I'm going to need help to cross the finish line.

Ok, so I added a npci=0x2000 line and that seemed to have done the trick... also I waited a lot longer this time. After 10 minutes of "Decryption hasn't succeeded yet (probably will retry)". I got to the setup screen! :)

I've taken a snapshot of the VM state.  And I'm going to install a bootloader. WIsh me luck guys

Is it normal for the Mac to be in "Safe Mode" on the first boot? (see picture attached)
